Currently, the JPPHA Board of Directors is in the process of putting together its project team. Once the legal, financial, engineering, environmental review, public outreach and overall project managment expertise is in place, the Authority will undertake the following actions:
1) Analyze the information provided by the CDOT Northwest Corridor Transportation and Environmental Planning Study.
2) Complete assemblage of the right of way.
3) Develop financial analysis and alternatives.
4) Document construction, operations and maintenance standards and specifications for the Parkway.
5) Create a request for proposal for a public private partnership to finance, design, construct, operate and maintain the Jefferosn Parkway.
The authority will cooperate with the Northwest Parkway PHA and Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) for improvements needed for the existing roadway segments north and south of the Jefferson Parkway.
